Villa Splendida is a charming ancient property (17th century) located in Vorno, a small village (where you can find a bar, few shops and a bus stop) near the medieval town of Lucca.
It sleeps up to 12 people in 6 bedrooms all with ensuite bathrooms and is fully air-conditioned.

The Villa’s wide park of lime-trees, oaks, olives, magnolias, large bushes of aromatic plants and roses is the ideal background for the beautiful swimming pool. Entwined with Bougainvilleas the romantic pergola with panoramic Tuscan views is an inviting place for your relax.

Centrally located Villa Splendida allows you to explore the numerous sites of Tuscany such as Carrara, Chianti, Florence, Forte dei Marmi, Garfagnana, Lucca, Montecatini Terme, Pisa, Siena, Versilia, and Viareggio.

Villa Splendida, built in the 17th century, has been recently restored. You will feel the charm of living in a historical Tuscan Villa during your stay while enjoying modern amenities such as individually controlled air conditioning in each of the 6 bedrooms with en suite bathroom, central heating, computer & internet, Wi-Fi, stereo CD player with central diffusion, satellite TV, and alarm. The stylish furnishings offer the utmost in comfort and relaxation.

Interior Description

Villa Splendida sits the end of a lane of stately cypresses, surrounded by extensive gardens and enclosed within a stonewall. Villa Splendida’s owner has marvelous sense of taste and a strong connection to local history, which are evident in every detail of the villa’s décor.
According to 17th century custom, the ground floor is simple and rustic, while the stately piano nobile, or noble floor, is located just above.
