Villa Traversi is an exclusive luxury waterfront villa on Lake Como, located in Laglio on the prestigious western shore of the lake. Accommodating up to 10 guests in 5 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms, the villa combines historic Italian architecture with refined contemporary design, offering privacy, comfort and direct access to Lake Como.

Recently restored by an Italian fashion designer, Villa Traversi retains the character and elegance of a historic Italian residence while providing sophisticated modern comforts. The villa features elegant interiors, designer furnishings, air conditioning, a working fireplace, a billiard and entertainment area, and a high-end professional kitchen.

The property enjoys a privileged private waterfront position with a lakeside garden, panoramic terraces and an outdoor dining area overlooking Lake Como. Guests can enjoy a heated infinity pool with Jacuzzi, swim directly in the lake and access the private dock with its 8-metre boat pier. Two kayaks are also available for guests.

The accommodation comprises four lake-view bedrooms in the main villa and an independent guest suite in a separate annex, providing additional privacy for a couple, family member or staff member travelling with the main group.

Villa Traversi enjoys a private waterfront setting with direct access to Lake Como. The outdoor areas include a private lakeside garden, panoramic furnished terraces, an outdoor dining area with BBQ and a heated infinity pool with Jacuzzi.

The property also features a private dock with an 8-metre boat pier, allowing guests to swim directly from the property or moor a rented boat. Two kayaks are available for guests.

Outdoor Areas – Important Information for Families with Young Children
The villa welcomes families, but its outdoor areas are not specifically child-proofed. The terrace has a railing that does not provide adequate protection for very young children, while stone steps lead to the garden and pool. The swimming pool is not fenced, and the lakefront garden has open boundaries with horizontal railings that are not child-proof. A small ornamental fountain with a basin is also located in the garden.
Young children should therefore be closely supervised at all times when using the outdoor areas, particularly around the pool, lakefront, steps and water features.

A passenger ferry boarding point is located in Carate Urio, approximately 3 km from the villa, providing convenient connections to many destinations around Lake Como, including Como, Bellagio, Menaggio and other lakeside villages.

A car is recommended for exploring Lake Como and its surrounding villages. Private transfers from Milan Malpensa, Milan Linate, Bergamo Orio al Serio and Como railway station can be arranged on request.

Interior Description

Villa Traversi accommodates up to 10 guests in 5 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms. The accommodation is arranged between the historic main villa and an independent guest suite located in a separate annex a few metres from the main panoramic terrace.

The main villa includes four lake-view bedrooms, three bathrooms, an elegant living room, dining area, professional designer kitchen and a lower-level entertainment area with fireplace and billiard table.
The independent guest suite provides the fifth bedroom and an additional private bathroom. It includes a double or twin bedroom with air conditioning and is particularly suitable for a couple, family member or staff member travelling with the main group.

The villa's outdoor spaces extend the living areas towards the lake, with panoramic terraces, a private lakeside garden, heated infinity pool with Jacuzzi and direct access to the private dock and Lake Como.

Bedrooms

Villa Traversi has five air-conditioned bedrooms sleeping up to 10 guests. Four bedrooms are located in the main villa, while the fifth bedroom is in a private guest suite in a separate annex.

Green Master Bedroom
The Green Master Bedroom features two windows overlooking Lake Como, air conditioning and a king-size bed measuring 180 × 200 cm with a memory-foam mattress. A walk-in wardrobe and safe are provided. The original Art Nouveau ensuite bathroom includes a bathtub and shower, with distinctive stained-glass details.

Red Bedroom
The Red Bedroom enjoys lake views and air conditioning. It can be arranged either as a double bed measuring 180 × 200 cm or as two single beds measuring 90 × 200 cm. The bedroom features a memory-foam mattress and Persian carpets.

Yellow Bedroom
The Yellow Bedroom overlooks Lake Como and has air conditioning. It can be arranged with two single beds measuring 90 × 200 cm. The bedroom shares a bathroom with a bathtub and shower overlooking the lake, featuring 19th-century artist-designed glass.

Fornasetti Bedroom
Located on the third floor, the Fornasetti Bedroom offers a romantic lake view and can be arranged as either a double or twin bedroom. It has air conditioning and a luxurious bathroom featuring an antique white marble bathtub and a black Carrara marble shower with Jacuzzi and chromotherapy features. Fornasetti tiles and lighting complete the distinctive interior.

Private Guest Suite
The fifth bedroom is located in an independent guest suite in a separate annex, a few metres from the main panoramic terrace. The suite can be arranged as a double or twin bedroom and has air conditioning and a private ensuite shower room. Its separate position provides additional privacy and makes it suitable for a couple, family member or staff member.

The Green Master Bedroom has an original Art Nouveau ensuite bathroom with bathtub, shower and distinctive stained-glass details.

The Yellow Bedroom has access to a bathroom with bathtub and shower overlooking Lake Como, enhanced by 19th-century artist-designed glass.

The Fornasetti Bedroom has a luxurious bathroom with an antique white marble bathtub and a black Carrara marble shower equipped with Jacuzzi and chromotherapy features. Fornasetti tiles and lighting add to its distinctive character.

The private guest suite in the separate annex has its own ensuite shower room.

Kitchen

Villa Traversi features a high-end professional designer kitchen handcrafted by Lombard artisans, combining professional equipment with elegant contemporary design.

The kitchen is fitted with a Titanium Golden Black granite countertop, a side-by-side refrigerator with ice maker, Siemens ovens including steam, static and microwave functions, and a warming drawer. Additional equipment includes a vacuum machine, wine cellar, automatic sparkling-water dispenser, Bora induction hob and professional gas burners.

Coffee facilities include Nespresso, American coffee and moka, while a toaster and juicer are also provided. The kitchen is equipped with premium cookware and is designed for both private use and professional culinary experiences.

Sitting Room
