Villa Isa is a modern (built in the '70s), appointed two-level house set directly on Lake Maggiore shore. The location is amazing: from the windows, you look straight out over the water towards the mountains. Located on the Lombard shore of Lake Maggiore, the villa is conveniently located to explore the two sides of the Lake.
This modern home has every possible modern facility: pool, private beach, boat access, floor-to-ceiling glass sliding doors, terrace, and pool overhanging the lake. The villa sleeps up to 8 guests in 4 bedrooms and 5 bathrooms.

THE AREA
The Lake Maggiore area is one of the greenest in Italy. Natural parks include the Val Grande National Park, Italy’s largest wilderness area, the Alpe Veglia and Devero Regional Park, and the Wildlife Oasis of Macugnaga, on the lower slopes of Monte Rosa. The Lombard shore of Lake Maggiore is fringed with the little towns of Sesto Calende, Angera, Santa Caterina del Sasso, Laveno, Luino, and Maccagno, each with attractive natural or architectural features typical of lakeside communities. Outstanding among the historical treasures of the Lombard shore of Lake Maggiore are the Rocca di Angera, a superbly conserved medieval castle in a dominating position, the Hermitage of Santa Caterina del Sasso, a fine monastery complex dating from the 14th century, perched on a cliff above the lake, and the Borromeo Islands.

Local Transport

The nearest railway station is 1,700 meters away, in Ispra. From there, Milan can be reached in approximately 1 hour and 20 minutes, with a train change in Sesto Calende. For updated schedules, please consult the Trenitalia website.

Interior Description

The first-floor features two bedrooms: two AC double bedrooms (180 x 200 and 160 x 200) and three bathrooms, one with shower and two with tub. A large gourmet kitchen. Spacious living AC room with dining area and a great lake view. On the same floor is another small single bedroom (80 x 195), usually closed, that can be available only upon request.

The lower level features a large (63 sqm) AC suite with a round double bed (210x180), fireplace, TV, ensuite full bathroom with indoor hot tub (with Jacuzzi hydro massage system), chromotherapy shower, and large glass sliding doors overlooking the lake.

A twin/double air-conditioned bedroom (90x200) with sauna and bathroom (shower).
