Gallietta is a luxury historic villa dating from 1772, set directly on the waterfront of Lake Como in the heart of Como, Italy. Combining the grandeur of an aristocratic residence with an exceptionally convenient town-centre location, it offers a rare opportunity to enjoy a private lakeside estate just a short walk from Como's historic centre.
The property brings together three defining features: historic architecture, direct access to Lake Como and the convenience of staying within the town itself. Its private garden, swimming pool and lakeside setting provide an atmosphere of privacy, while restaurants, cafés, boutiques and cultural attractions are within walking distance.
Recognised as one of Como's historic “Seven Sisters”, Villa Gallietta retains original frescoes, historic mosaic floors and elegant architectural details, complemented by modern comforts including air conditioning, an elevator, high-speed Wi-Fi, a private gym and a dedicated yoga area.
The estate comprises the Main Villa and an independent Rustic Apartment. Together, they accommodate up to 25 guests in 11 bedrooms, making the property particularly suitable for extended families, multigenerational holidays and large groups who wish to stay together while retaining the flexibility of separate accommodation.

THE ESTATE & PRIVACY
Villa Gallietta consists of two independent accommodations within the same historic estate.
The Main Villa accommodates up to 18 guests in 8 bedrooms and has its own private garden, swimming pool and direct access to the lake.
The Rustic Apartment, with its own private entrance and courtyard, accommodates up to 7 guests in 3 bedrooms.
When the two accommodations are rented together by the same group, the estate can accommodate up to 25 guests in 11 bedrooms.
Guests renting only the Rustic Apartment do not have access to the main villa's private garden and swimming pool. These facilities become available when the entire estate is rented by the same group.

Outdoor

Villa Gallietta enjoys a private lakeside garden belonging to the main villa, providing a peaceful outdoor setting directly on Lake Como.
The garden includes a private 15 × 5 m swimming pool, outdoor relaxation areas and direct access to the lake.
A private boathouse is located at the lake, while the property also connects directly with the scenic lakeside pedestrian promenade leading towards Como's historic centre.
The outdoor areas shown in the property photographs refer exclusively to the main villa. Guests renting only the Rustic Apartment have access to the garden and swimming pool only when both units are rented together by the same group.

Important: guests renting only the Rustic Apartment do not have access to the swimming pool unless both units are rented together by the same group.

Lake Como offers several golf courses within driving distance of Como, making Villa Gallietta suitable for guests combining a luxury lake holiday with golf.
