Villa Virginia is a historic early-20th-century villa in Moltrasio, on the western shore of Lake Como. Originally built as an Italian holiday residence by a noble Swiss family, the villa was carefully restored in 2008, preserving its period character while introducing modern comforts.
Set within approximately 2,000 m² of private grounds, the property enjoys a privileged lakefront position with a panoramic terrace, heated swimming pool, outdoor Jacuzzi and private dock.
With 9 bedrooms and 7 bathrooms, Villa Virginia accommodates up to 16 guests and is particularly well suited to families, multigenerational groups and private gatherings.
The private dock provides direct access to the lake and makes it possible to arrange private boat hire, water taxis and lake excursions.

Swimming Pool

The panoramic swimming pool measures approximately 10.20 × 4 × 1.5 metres and features Roman steps and a hydro-massage system. It can be heated on request at an additional charge and covered overnight to help retain warmth and keep the water clean.
The pool is not fenced.
A separate outdoor Jacuzzi for up to 6 guests is positioned in the garden and enjoys panoramic views of Lake Como. Heating is available on request at an additional charge

Parking

Private parking for up to 4 cars is available inside the property.
Please note that the parking area is not on the same level as the villa entrance. The pedestrian underpass includes approximately 10 steps, which may be relevant for guests with reduced mobility.

Villa Virginia is ideally located for exploring Lake Como by car, bus, ferry or private boat. The nearest bus stop is just 150 metres away, and the ferry pier is within 400 metres, offering easy connections to lakeside towns.

Restaurants, shops and local amenities are about 1 km away. Como is 9 km away, the nearest motorway access 7 km, the railway station 8 km and the nearest airport approximately 60 km.

Interior Description

Villa Virginia is a historic Lake Como villa of approximately 600 m², arranged over three floors plus a basement, surrounded by approximately 2,000 m² of private grounds.

Basement: The basement houses the laundry room and wine cellar.

Ground Floor: The entrance level features the main dining room with fireplace, a spacious double living room opening onto the panoramic terrace, two fully equipped kitchens and a bathroom with shower.

First Floor: The first floor accommodates up to 8 guests in four queen bedrooms with lake views, each with a private bathroom.

Mansard Floor: The top floor accommodates up to 8 guests in one large king bedroom with an adjoining single bed and three twin bedrooms. This floor does not have lake views. Two bathrooms are available on this level.

An additional single bedroom can be added on request at an extra charge.

Villa Virginia offers two fully equipped kitchens.
The main kitchen includes a 5-burner stove, electric oven, dishwasher, refrigerator with ice maker, microwave, espresso machine, filter coffee maker, toaster and blender.
A second kitchen is also available, providing additional convenience for larger groups and extended stays.
