Enjoyed this villa and surroundings to the fullest. Swimming pool is quite large and very neat. The home is modern, equipped with every comfort. Very tasteful decor. Large comfortable bedrooms and bathroom. Small kitchen though. Environment is very quiet and rural. Challenging for experienced cyclists. Hostess (owner) is super friendly and hospitality is of paramount importance. Her tips of restos and visits is very good. Recommended for those looking for peace.
Dear Beatrice,
thank you so much for your warm hospitality!
We enjoyed the house and our vacation here in Tredozio very much.
We will come back…next time when it’s a little warmer and we can enjoy the pool too.
We had a wonderful time!

We have had an absolutely wonderful week here in Tredozio. It really has been quite magical!
We loved our tour with Annalisa on Monday, early morning strolls into the village for a coffee at Penna bar.
Fresh bread and pastries and the bakery, lunch and dinner in the square, and lazy days around the pool.
Wonderful hospitality, glorious scenery, enchanting villages, people food and wine.
An absolutely perfect family holiday.
Topped off by Nicola and Moro delivering the truffle, freshly found!
Can’t wait to return.

Dear Beatrice,
We are sorry that it has taken us so long to get back to you about our wonderful holiday in your villa.
All of us really enjoyed the break. Tredozio is a lovely little town and everyone was so friendly and helpful.
We welcomed the food and wine left for us at the villa. The accommodation was perfect for our use. We ate in the "old pigsty" and at the table in the villa, but did not try the garden table.
The cleaners were efficient and unobtrusive.
The outside areas are lovely and the garden furniture was perfect, especially the pool sun loungers.
We felt very lucky to be able to visit your Palazzo and attend the harp concert...so unexpected. As was the day with Lisa.
She is a lovely person and an excellent guide, so knowledgeable about the palazzo we visited. The wine tasting was most enjoyable. Together Stefano and Lisa made it an informative and fun experience - a day well spent.
Both Lisa's and your advice on parking in Ravenna and Bologna was extremely useful.
Our last evening at Pierluighi's home was special, the food and wine perfect! Thank you for arranging all these 'extras' for us.
Our only negative comments are:
- Although the pool was cleaned every morning by the afternoon, the surface was covered with insects which is why we asked for a net.
- The kitchen hob was difficult to use as the numbers on the control were worn away which made working out the temperature tricky. In addition, there was nothing to indicate which were on, off or hot.
- Finally, we were surprised that your electricity is so expensive. On departure we had to pay an extra £50. We only cooked on one evening and did not use the oven...perhaps it is expensive to heat the water as we had plenty of showers!
All in all, it was a so much better holiday that we all expected... we have not been away with our sons for several years! We will never forget sitting outside the villa enjoying the stunning views across the valley, so glad we found your villa.
Best wishes,
Roger and Sandy - UK

We all really had a fantastic time with you and Lisa and your friends in Tredozio. You were personally so helpful in every way and we are all very grateful. Torre Fantini worked out perfectly for us, the class then dinner with Per Luigi were terrific experiences, and Lisa's tour was fascinating. We don't know what else to say except that it is very sad we will not be able to be back soon.
Thank you again for everything,
Ciao from Andrew & Rhonda - AUSTRALIA
Hi Bea,
Thanks so much for taking such good care of us! It's such a tastefully-appointed property in a beautiful, unspoiled spot - last evening after Pierre-Luigi's excellent dinner, fire-fly danced in the moonlight and guided us home. It was pure magic I've never experienced anything like it.
Lisa was a terrific guide: friendly, flexible, and she seemed genuinely happy and excited to share with us her favorite places (where there were no other tourists). I'd highly recommend her.
All the best,
Jenny - UK
Thank you for this amazing stay in this beautiful house!
We loved the view and the swimming pool. Thank you for your kindness and hospitality!
If we go to Tuscany again we come back!

Holidays, and whether you enjoyed yourself or not is dependent upon a number of factors; the food, the people you meet, the accommodation and amenities, the hassle you have if things go wrong etc.
I came to Tredozio from Brisbane, Australia, for a six weeks holiday on a recommendation and I can say, in all honesty, that this has been the most memorable holiday that I have had in my not so short life.
Bea, you and your mother Lucy could not have been more efficient, gracious, friendly hosts and I have not one complaint in these six weeks.
Your warmth and care have been so genuine that I feel more like a treasured friend than a guest.
My time here at the Torre and at the Palazzo has been little short of amazing: just perfect!!
I thank you Lucy - I thank you Beatrice
John - Brisbane - AUSTRALIA

Thanks you and may God bless you all.

We have just spent seven wonderful days at Torre Fantini! The accommodation has been excellent and only, exceeded by the outstanding service and support from the owner, Beatrice…with her help we have had an informed tour of the local district, villages, eating venues and other sites of interest.
The Palazzo Fantini garden is a must to see.
Thank you Beatrice!
We shall pass the word around to our friends in Australia.

Our third visit in this beautiful place. We hope to return. Don’t miss going to Al Vecchio Convento for a meal and also to Pizzeria Henry. 2 very different restaurants but very good meals. I could look at the view from Torre Fantini forever!
Thank you, Janet and Ross - Dallas - USA
We are back! It is so wonderful to be back at Torre Fantini. This time in the Vecchia Torre. The sunshine on the beautiful green hills was a joy to wake up to. We are so blessed to be able to return here! Torre Fantini holds a special part of our hearts. We are so looking forwards to 4 days here enjoying the local Sagra in Portico di Romagna

Torre Fantini is a charming independent country house located on the border between Emilia Romagna and Tuscany.
It sleeps up to 6 people, in 3 bedrooms with en suite bathrooms. It has a private garden with several areas to relax in the shade and a swimming pool overlooking the beautiful valley. At a few minutes walking from the village of Tredozio, Torre Fantini offers a strategic location to explore central Italy’s top regions of Emilia Romagna, Tuscany and Umbria.
Located near the south eastern corner of Italy's Emilia-Romagna region, Torre Fantini enjoys a hilltop position amid the rolling green landscape bordering the Foresti Casentinesi, a national park extending southward into Tuscany. In fact, this property was at one time in Tuscany!
As member of the Experience Villas Collection, Torre Fantini will be pleased to offer to its guests a visit to the garden of Palazzo Fantini and a full day guided tour, including a visit to the nearby towns and a visit to a winery in Brisighella (please note: tickets to museums, lunch and wine tasting are not included in the price; guests will use their own car).
Torre Fantini is an old farm tower belonging to the family of the same name. The family still lives in the Palazzo Fantini located nearby, just 1 km away. The magical garden surrounding the Palazzo, a 17th century residence, is a member of the association of Grandi Giardini Italiani (Great Italian Gardens) and is open to the public for tours, and for courtyard concerts during the summer and for weddings.
You will find the village of Tredozio is deliciously quiet, yet it harbours a number of inviting restaurants. A pleasant ten minute walk takes you from the tower to the village centre. Besides its handful of restaurants, Tredozio village has a charming little river running through it. Its shops include a couple of grocers, an excellent fresh produce shop, coffee bars, a butcher’s, a chemist’s, a bank with ATM, and a post office. In addition there is a small information point, from which, in summer months, you can rent mountain bikes, and a bus service offering buses to Faenza and Forlì. Last but not least there is Tennis Club at only 5 minutes’ walk from Torre Fantini.

THE AREA
Benefiting from a long history of prosperity, Emilia-Romagna is imbued with the spirit of fine living and boasts many exceptional Renaissance palaces and a particularly rich culinary heritage: lasagne, tortellini, Parmigiano-Reggiano cheese and aged traditional balsamic vinegar are just a few of the region’s many delicious innovations. A number of enjoyable excursions are easily undertaken from Torre Fantini. Faenza, with its world-famous ceramics museum and production house, is about 30 km away, and the splendid medieval fortress at Brisighella is half as far. A drive of 50 km toward the Adriatic finds one in Ravenna, in the presence of the world's finest Byzantine mosaics outside of Istanbul, and from here it is just minutes to the wonderful resorts of the coast. The distinguished city of Bologna, 75 km northwest of Torre Fantini, offers a delightful urban experience and, excellent shopping, and remarkably, the Tuscan capital of Florence is almost as close.
