VILLA SILVANA

Sorrento | Sleeps 16 +1
Photogallery

Settled on the cliff in the real heart of Sorrento, just a short walk from the main square, Villa Silvana is a luxury family in-town villa, built in the early 1900’s and newly refurbished in 2017.

Even if located in the town center (at a walking distance from everything: shops, restaurants, bars etc), the villa offers to its guests total privacy and tranquility thanks to the wide lush gardens (around 2000 sq mt, split into many different relaxing areas, furnished with sun beds, deck chairs and beach umbrellas), rich of beautiful palm trees and many different kind of plants including a luxuriant and scented lemon garden.

Its exclusive position on the cliff makes Villa Silvana a privileged point to enjoy an amazing panorama: a 180 degree view on the entire bay of Naples and the Vesuvius.

Beyond the entrance gate, a short driveway immersed in the palm trees leads to the main building.

Villa Silvana offers two large lounges, a fully equipped kitchen, an outdoor traditional wood burning pizza oven and 6 luxury bedrooms that can accommodate up to 17 people thanks to the extra beds.

The villa is divided into 4 floors and the access to all the floors can be easily done through a small lift (not accessible with wheelchair due its very small dimensions) or be by stairway. The main access from the road is settled at the ground floor, but – as the villa is positioned on a cliff – the interiors develop both underneath and above the ground floor.

At the GROUND floor there’s a large living room with fireplace, an indoor bar, a video projector with wide screen; furthermore, at this level there is also the double bedroom “Nadia”, which has its own private access from the outdoor area, right near the main entrance of the villa; this room has en en-suite bathroom with a walk-in shower, a private garden and a French balcony.

UNDERNEATH the ground floor there’s a lower level with a very large dining area, two sitting rooms with fireplace, the laundry room, a large professional kitchen, a wide sheltered terrace with a spacious table for outdoor lunch/dinner, few relax furnished areas and a very well equipped outdoor kitchen with BBQ and pizza oven.

Above the ground floor, on the FIRST floor, there are 4 bedrooms (3 delux and 1 superior), all equipped with safety box and mini-bar:
• “Carlotta” is a very spacious room that can easily accommodate a 3rd and 4th guest thanks to a sofa bed, with an amazing sea view from its French Balcony. The en-suite bathroom has a large hydro massage bath as well a shower head.
• “Amelia” (interconnected with “Carlotta” if needed) is another deluxe spacious room that can easily accommodate a 3rd or 4th guest thanks to a sofa bed. It joins the same amazing sea view and French Balcony of Carlotta. The en-suite bathroom has a standard bath with shower head.
• “Caterina” is the third deluxe room but garden facing; it has a large furnished terrace where guests can relax. The en-suite bathroom has two sinks and a walk-in shower.
• “Sofia” is a superior room, garden facing from its French balcony but with a partial sea view from one of the windows; the en-suite bathroom has a walk-in shower.

On the SECOND and THIRD top floor it is located the “Ginevra Suite”, with the undoubtedly best sea view of the whole villa. It is a 2 level suite (the access to the upper floor is through a stairway) with 2 dedicated terraces at both levels. At the lower level there is the lounge area (with a double sofa bed if needed), a hydro massage bath (positioned right in front of a window with an amazing view over the whole bay of Naples) and a very spacious terrace. At the upper level there is a double bedroom with en-suite bathroom (with a very large shower) and a wide terrace with the same panoramic view of the lower terrace.

Thanks to its central position, it is not necessary to hire a car during your stay at Villa Silvana: the town center (with all its amenities) is really few steps away and the train station or the bus links are only a short 5-minute walk away. During your vacation, you can easily rely on the public transportation or you can count on private drivers and tour guides to reach all the amazing places around this area, such as the stunning Amalfi coast, the Pompeii and Herculaneum ruins or the city of Naples itself.
However, should you arrive by your own car, you will find a large car park inside the villa which can hosts up to 5 cars.
